New Lathe Has Arrived

I just took delivery of my new Nova Galaxi DVR lathe. It is in the crate in my garage. Unfortunately it will be a week or so before I can set it up because I have to finish building my shop before I have a place to set it up. I'm spending every daylight hour work on the new shop.

Congrats on your new lathe. I don't have that lathe, but do know the feeling of a new lathe. Take your time setting up.

Congrats, I know you will enjoy your new lathe. I had to do the very exact same thing a month age when I got my new 1640. I really enjoyed rearranging my shop. I had to use my chain hoist to raise my lathe up and also used it to lift the head. It will be all worth it when you get it all set up. Have fun and as William said, take your time.

Oops. Other thread had the answer. Jet. Enjoy it! The shop where I did all my turning in Arizona was all Jet and the folks were happy with them.
