Salvage repairI admire your perseverance, Alan. I usually sacrifice my funnels to the woodturning gods in a ceremony I call “Smashing into a thousand pieces.” It’s violent, but cathartic. -
Lignum Vitae
The black from the creosote makes it difficult to see the feathery interlocking fibers. But, of the (few) exotics I’ve turned, I’d say Bocote was the closest in terms of density and oiliness. -
