Ambrosia Silver Maple Bowl 2014

Ambrosia Silver Maple Bowl 2014

A neighbor at our cottage on Lake Erie cut down 7 huge Silver Maples that went back to the mid 1920s in order to build a new house. Pretty much all had Ambrosia. Unfortunately never did get all my stache turned. Still have some now infected with powder post beetle but will never throw out. Finished with General Salad Bowl Finish. This was a core out I believe about 10-12". Posted to show the orientation with pith at the bottom which I feel best shows the Ambrosia effect.
