"Bow WOW!" ornament

A friend called when a Dogwood tree was knocked down in his yard. The closer we cut to the stump the more vivid color and spalt we saw. What we did not see was the powder post beetles.... '8-O
I refused to surrender my find to bugs, the small stuff got tossed outside but the stump got double bagged and tossed into my freezer for 5 months. It sat on my garage floor in the bags until 2 days ago. This is the first chunk.
You can see more detail shots on my site: http://www.truffuls.com/gallery.php?homeinclude=catalog&category_id=1&parent_id=0&product_id=13&countdisplay=6&start=4&addcountview=Yes
dimensions: 5.75" x 2.75"
Globe: Spalted Dogwood - hollowed
Cap & Base: African Blackwood
Hey! Glad you posted some of those wonderful ornaments here also.

You website looks good also.
