Carved Poplar Vase

Carved Poplar Vase

Carved Poplar Vase
Poplar.......15.25 inches high x 8 inches wide Turquoise inlay . When shaping I was thinking of flowing aquatic plant life, although I`m not sure if it really implies that very well. Anyways it`s my first carving in a long time so I`ll forgive myself.
Very nice, Vincent. It definitely conveys a feeling of flowing. I think that one in your fish series would fit nicely with this one. The blue gives a bit of coral effect.
