Celebration Tea

Michael and I wanted to challenge ourselves with this one. Mike was inspired by Middle Eastern styled chased teapots pots as he constructed this piece. My floral pattern was inspired by crewel embroidery and silver engraving.Being in the Holiday spirit, I thought a bit of color might be nice. What do you think?
Pear, turned and carved with pyrography, color and texture.
11" x 7.5"
Comments always welcomed.
Wow Mike, you're raising your own bar with this one, lovely balance with the spout & handle elevating the pot. Beautiful decoration
Pete
