Walnut Bark Rings

I turned the rings from a walnut limb my father-in-law gave me, which he said had been in his garage for 30 years.
I turned 2 seperate rings, cut one in half and reglued it around the other. They are joined together with a brass pin.
2 Walnut rings - 5" dia X 9-1/2" tall mounted on a ebonized cherry base.
Finished with oil and wax
An eyecatcher for sure! Well done!

Mark, a well-deserved honor! Never thought about getting mud tires in white wall before, something to impress the crowd down at the swamp with!
