Nest Egg Vessel

Nest Egg Vessel

I finally got some to do a bit of turning! The bowl is 5 1/2" diameter, 2" tall. Made from pear, as are the three eggs. The grooves are bleached. The texture is done with an electric engraver.
very nice

Thank you everyone for your positive comments. I'm in my shop again this weekend and it feels great to be making shavings!

Ya did a great job with this piece Betty. Glad you posted it. I just finished roughing out 20 Pear bowls myself, love that wood.

Betty, the texture and the colors of this piece make it warm and inviting!
