Buckeye Goblet

Buckeye Goblet

This is a piece of Buckeye Burl with a dyed black walnut base. The goblet's dyes are black, green, yellow and a tad of golden orange. The inside is natural and the undercut rim was colored black with a marker so it wouldn't bleed. 1/16th thick and finished with tung oil and nervously Beall buffed.
Thanks for looking and all comments are welcome, Don

Don, I have already commented eleswhere but can't resist another shot,
A simply beautiful & elegant piece, your colouring is superb

Great form and fantastic colour blending.

I'm somewhat surprised the dye didn't soak through such a thin wall.

Great combination of color, form, workmanship, and Mother Nature!

Thank you very much Hal, Odie and Bernie!

Odie, I'm doing fine, just haven't posted for a while. Need to get back in the habit. Hope you're doing well too.
