Hickory Bowl #2

I like it, but wondering what is the black circle in the bottom.

Bill the black circle is a part of the inclusion running down the side and into the bottom of the bowl. The tree grew around the small branch at this location and this may have been the spot where the branch started to grow when this was a young tree. I say this because it did not show through on the bottom outside of the bowl, just the inside.

Excellent form, and the little extra details on the rim make it very attractive.

Gerald, the color is all natural, no photoshop or other treatments. With a few exceptions I finish all of my work with walnut oil and a good coat of wax. Thank you for you comments.

Like the curve appears to continue through the bottom.
