I turned this urn for my Grandson, who lost his fight against cancer on Sept 7, 2016...
It is the first large hollow work I have done, and I really think it is the best work I have ever done.
It was the perfect way for me to mark his passing
I, as many others of us, know what it is to lose a loved one to cancer, but few have had to experience the grief of losing a child or grandchild. Thank you for sharing with us.
Like Bill said, it is indeed a beautiful tribute to your grandson, and a tribute to your resilience.
The work is beautiful, and please accept my deepest sympathy in your time of loss.
