Decorated vase

A collaboration between Mo and turner Peter Blair in British Columbia. Peter Blair in Canada kindly sent Mo this lovely Japanese inspired hollow form in Silver Maple and asked me to decorate it as I wished and here it is. A Japanese Coral Bark Maple with a little Silver Eye bird, Common Blue and Monarch butterflies, dragonfly and Bee, common to both countries. The design is loosely based on a Cloisonne vase
