"Different Drum"

A piece of Madrone that I got from Dave Schweitzer turned to completion and allowed to follow its own path. The rim is a combination of natural edge and my carving. I may add leaf or color to the edge, maybe not. The interior is just as the piece was finished off the tools, no sanding. As the piece dried the limb void put a nice ridge on the inside and a nice firemark on the bottom.
