1401 White Oak Crotch (16)

Finished 12/16/2017, White oak crotch, original block was 22%mc and after roughing took 9 months to stabilize, block was 8 1/2" x 3 3/4" and final size is 7 11/16" x 3 1/8", 515 grams/18.2oz, sanded to 600 + 0000 steel wool, Watco Danish oil natural, Beall 3/step buff, very difficult to get a clean cut on this one, matl's cost = $32.72, this tree was harvested in Iowa, -----odie-----
White oak is a local wood for me and I almost exclusively work with local wood. Hope you are as happy as I would be with this beautiful piece! Love the rim detail.
