Entry without the lid

potporri dish -1 3/8 inches high and 4.5 inches in diameter
Cherry base; 1st and third rings are spalted maple middle ring is black walnut. There is a corian inlay on top that is the base for the potporri lid.
This is my first ever attempt at turning a segmented item.

The wood was slabs cut from logs then planed to thickness, then the segments cut.
