Fertility Twins

Fertility Twins Kokopelli is a fertility deity, usually depicted as a humpbacked flute player (often with feathers or antenna-like protrusions on his head), who has been venerated by some Native American cultures in the Southwestern United States. Like most fertility deities, Kokopelli presides over both childbirth and agriculture. He is also a trickster god and represents the spirit of music. My latest illusion involves leaving a section within the piece or on the rim that i can later carve images on. I like the kokopelli and thought it would bring these two together perfectly. Platter is 7.5" diameter vessel is 6" x 4" both colored with faber castel india then carved with my turbine.
