Small bowl-in-serpentine-bowl in gum. The upper rim was pyrographed using a small propane torch as a quasi "airbrush". Technique was learned in a pyrography class I attended several months ago taught by John Noffsinger. John's pyrograhic artistry ("Over the Rainbow") is featured on page 1 of the current issue of American Woodturner. Pyrograhy was used in part to camouflage some small defects in the rim.
Finish: Sanded to 2000 Grit, Oiled with Original Waterlox, and machine buffed.
