Hawthorn hollow form

Hawthorn hollow form

This piece is approx 7" high turned from Hawthorn.
I thought this one might split as Hawthorn is very prone to splitting and it was semi dry. However it was turned very thin and has stayed in good shape.
HI George

I like this piece but find it a little hard at the shoulder which for me alters the form. My personal taste would have ben to make it more rounded from the shoulder up. But that is not to say it is not a nice piece. Certainly great finish.

Take care

Mark
