Ikat Bowl 1

Oak bowl, blackened with a vinegar/steel wool solution and colored with shore polish and gilders paste.
I was told it was black oak. Also, I meant shoe polish, not shore polish. Darn auto correct. Thanks. I have been playing with making my own gilders paste with my husband, Mark. It's a nice way to lay color on to open grain.
