I'm Half Here

Lilac twig pot. A friendly gent offered to sell me a truck load of Lilac wood (I bought for $50). Not imagining that I'd get more than some sticks, he shows up with a truck load of likely 50 year old Lilac with some large pieces. Much of it had burl figure and great grain pattern. Because the wood was so unusual, I vowed to turn every piece. This is a twig pot made from one of the pieces. There was enough wood on the top to allow a 1/4" x 1" deep hole for twigs, so 'just enough'. BTW: the purchase was worth every penny.
