Madrone Burl Hollow form

Madrone Burl Hollow form, I turned it green just to see what would happen. It came out with a few well placed fissures. 4 1/4" dia. x 4 1/4" tall Danish Oil and Tung Oil finish
Nice piece Chris. Of the 5 pieces you just posted I like this one best because of the symmetry and also the interesting void. Plus as you know I'm a sucker for really cool grain and this one has nice grain.

The coolest thing about this piece is it has 2 very distinct sides, the burled & inclusion side and the other with the diagonal two-tone with the fiddleback figure...lots to look at, almost 2 pieces in 1.
