Madrone Fish

Madrone Fish

11"x8" Lacquer finish. I used Madrone for the way it moves when it drys. It gave the fish texture that adds to the feel and look. Body was turned and carved, Dorsal and caudal fins were turned separately using lost wood technique and cut to size, than textured.
