Mesquite Vase top

This vase is from a piece of Mesquite given to me by Max Taylor (thanks buddy!). It's hard wood, but nice to work with. It branched off in two at the top so I decided to keep that and a little of the bark and use it as part of the design. That's why there are two bulls-eyes where it flares out. About 9" tall, finished with Tung oil and Beall buffed. All comments welcome and thanks for looking.
Thanks Larry! I'm now a fan of Mesquite too. Cuts nice (with sharp tools) and takes a great finish. Would love to do a bowl out the this stuff.
