I like the placement as it leaves the grain accenting the "nose" and I almost see a scar on the side of the face. Very interesting piece.
 
Shoot...I thot I wuz strange with my "Baseball Bat", but this is strange, cool, weird, kookie,funny, etc., etc......very well done!! (see my web site at www.dreamwooddesign.biz) Looks like I will need to come up with another "other being"!!

Hal, I grew up near the Height Ashbury in the 60's so it comes naturally.
