Natural Edge Bowl - 414

Wormy Red Oak, 8" dia x 6" tall
GBJ,
Thank you!

It was turned green to about 1" thick. Boiled for one hour and dried in a brown paper bag for about five weeks. From green to dry in five weeks and no cracks. This method works well with Oak.

Very nice, Ed. I've had my challenges with Oak in the past but haven't tried your technique. I still have a large piece of red oak sitting in a corner that will get revisited.
