Nest Egg Vessel

Nest Egg Vessel

I finally got some to do a bit of turning! The bowl is 5 1/2" diameter, 2" tall. Made from pear, as are the three eggs. The grooves are bleached. The texture is done with an electric engraver.
Congratulations on a beautiful piece Betty. The grooves and beaching is a nice contrast to the smooth warm brown exterior. And the eggs are a neat finishing touch.

Kurt, I'm honored for this little bowl to be on the front page, thank you!

And thanks to everyone else for the kind comments!
