Oak Burl with Colored Resin

5.5"x 5.5" Oak burl with epoxy putty that has been colored
great piece i would love to learn a bit more about the epoxy resin as well. I have had lots of visions using epoxy but i have not found one that i can build ud very much

-e- , David,
Colored epoxy putty was added to look like pottery, the top was shaped by hand to give it that pottery look. The finish is clear bar top epoxy. What I use is an epoxy putty called "Apoxie Sculpt" from a taxidermy supply house. It hardens in about 6-10 hrs. I mix in artist acrylic paint with the putty to color it.
