OAKLEAVES

Cherry vase with carved stippled base, cut out and shaped oak leaves. 7"H X 3"D. Airbrushed and lacquered.
The carved oak leaves are well integrated with the vessel form. I wonder if in your design phase considered leaving the leaves natural color and having the vessel area black?

Betty,

Thanks for the feedback. The leaves are the natural color of the walnut. The lacquer makes them appear different. I am considering removing it from the leaves to tone it down. Are you talking about making the interior black? The stippling is already black
