Oval Hollowing

Trying to go beyond platter in using the VOD
EXCELLENT OUTCOME!
Beautiful form!

Very nice piece, love the way you've offset the top. Great work.
Could you give us more details on the piece, like size, wood and what you have used as filler?
Robbie

Thanks, it is about 7 1/2 tall, 6" and 5" diameter on malor and minor axis respectivelly. The wood is unknown as I foound it in my wood pile from a long time ago. I used Inlace turquoise for the filler and medium ca glue for the finish since I had to keep those splits tights. For the hollowing I found out that I could use a single roller to support the oval turning on the outside
