pirouette

dyed juniper - 11 inches tall
This is turned the same way as for my recent 'kinetic kats". Only two axes that cross in the middle of the piece and that form right angles at its ends are needed. Lots of air turning, and a little sand-carving at the top. This piece is dyed with water-based fabric dyes and finished with water-based poly.
very nice, how many axis did you use?
