Quills

This is my first post on the AAW website although I have been posting on the "WOWs" for a while. This is a 13"h x 7"w buckeye burl with voids filled with turquoise. Very thin .125" wall thickness. Top is dyed walnut, porcupine quills and silver jewlers wire. Alot going on with this piece. I hope it works. Comments and critiques are welcomed and appreciated.
very nice, i liked it at Tennessee Symposuism, hope to see you post more

A very beautiful piece; I think the turquoise and buckeye go very well together. Inlaying an area that large can be a real pain, especially if it is a total void. Great work.
