"Slinky"

A 3 footed hollowform turned from Paperbark Birch. I added 107 3/32" beads leaving just a small neck lip smooth. I finished this using metal bearing acrylic paint, a mix of iron and bronze, and forced a patina using copper sulphate. I like the mix of subtle blue and yellow/orange highlights on the dark gunmetal gray. The interior is colored with carbon black acrylics. A final coat of Krylon Matte protects the finish with little effect on dullish sheen.
