Spalted Maple Bowl

Spalted Maple Bowl

This bowl is from some maple logs a buddy brought over. This piece is for him. The bark just came right off but I liked the shape so left it semi-natural edged. I did a little shaping with a Dremel and put some green on the edge. About 11" wide X 6" tall. Finished with tung oil and Beall buffed.
Thanks for looking and all comments welcome,
Don L.
Don,

Great job, and I really like the sweeping line of the rim. Although the green does look very nice, I kinda agree with Mr. Don and think a black, or darker color would have worked better.

It's a ten, though!
