Now this is really cool Keith. It must have been a challenge to get the wings all consistent. Did you have to do much manual clean-up after the bandsawing? I like the feeling of motion, as you put it, that this piece has.
 
HI Chris, I made a cardboard template to mark the piece for bandsawing. I used a small drum sander in the drill press to sand initially, then finished by hand. Not too much time involved. Thanks, Keith
 
Looks like one of my tablesaw blades before someone suggested I should sharpen it occasionally. I just got into this kind of bowl, will have to try your technique.Stunning, Max
