Texas Pride

This plate is one of ten plates I turned for a teacher friend. Made from Texas Mesquite, each plate is approximately 10” in diameter and proudly displays a Texas cattle brand. What makes these plates so special is the Mesquite wood came from the teacher’s family south Texas ranch, and the brand seared into the center of each plate came from using the actual family ranch cattle branding iron.
