Toroid Box

Toroid Box

Description: This is a expantion of the idea from my last post. I have moved the lip to the inside so the lid can be removed simply by pressing on the outside. Thanks to Matt Heffron for the idea. And thanks to Jeff Lavine for the toroid idea and the comment about rounding the bottom of the inside for easier retrival of contents. The dize is 7"x2.5". The curly maple lid is finished with boiled linseed oil. and the Rosewood base is finished with Mahoneys Walnut oil. All comments and critiques are always welcome.
Wonderful work.

It looks good enough to eat. A bundt cake with icing.

All kidding aside. How did you make the lid removable? Please explain further.

Thanks for posting

John Taylor
