After all the carving and piercing I do it was a joy to turn a simple bowl for a change. I got a call from lady whose parents are going to move into condo. They had two big maple trees down and she wanted a bowl out of their tree. Because of the quote I gave her I didn't have any more time to decorate it but I like it the way it is. I'm sure her folks will. 7" x 11" dimensions. Spray lacquer and buffed. Comment welcome as always.

PS - the bowl was a huge hit at Christmas. The ladies folks cried. Now her brother and sisters want a turning from the tree as well. Best kind of marketing. :-)
