This was a project that has been in my head since the summer. The wedding was actually a couple days after Christmas so it was a late gift. I wanted to give it to the couple on their 1 month anniversary so I didn't have time to take a picture with my light box.
The wood is maple and the spiral stem was done with the Sorby Micro Spiralling System. (Saved me the trouble of doing it by hand.)
Finish is a couple of coats of waterlox and Beall buffing system.
I think if I was to do it again I would change a few things but overall I am happy with it.
