Whim and a Prayer

A cylinder was turned then held in a jig to enable me to turn lots of 50mm bowls in a helix
This stands 2ft 600mm high Rosewood
Hi Terry, your engineering skills in bringing this piece to life just blow me away! I enjoy figuring out how to get to a perceived end, but this one makes my head swim! Having seen the pics on WoW, I can understand the process, but wouldn't have dared it with my lathe. Love the texturing and the color contrasts.
Smiles,
Rick

What an interesting piece, Terry. The helix bowls are brilliant. Such a pleasure to look at and study.
