    This is my first goblet. It measures 2-3/4" dia. x 8-3/4" tall. Walls measure about .08". I don't know if I should tell the wood as I'm likely to be laughed at. Oh, well it won't be the first time. As this was my first try I used poplar and finished it with friction polish.

    Carved finial, Pyrographically Branded, Patinated Silver-Leaf While visiting the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, I was drawn to some 16th century ceramic boxes. This prototype box is inspired from those works.
