Base, lid and finial -Cherry. Collar - Royal Palm. Box - Jatoba, turned on 3 axes. Finial elements painted and color matched glass beads inset on four sides. Pearl on top. 7 inches tall. 2 inches max diameter.
Madrone burl with black lacquered maple foot. The lid is slumped glass with a brass finial. Turned from a green blank, this piece took many hours of thinking and planning before it ever saw the lathe. About 18 x 8.
