with a hundred different ways to do things on the lathe, the only thing I do differently then aroundthewoods is to drill the hole for the screw with a jacobs chuck in the tailstock, I just could never get the screw hole exactly centered using a drillpress, which might not make a differance unless you want to remount...or try excentric turning...
