Roughing out a bowl-
On a turning, turning lathe.
Through the wood we go-
Laughing all the way.
Thinning down the walls-
Making finish Bright.
What fun it is to polish up
a masterpiece tonight!
Woodchips fly, woodchips fly-
Cutting all the day!
Oh what fun it is to hollow out
a bowl this way! ...
