The maximum image size is 1920 X 1920 pixels. If your image is larger than that then you would need to either shrink or crop it. The other limitation is maximum file size which is 250 kB (AAW members can post images with file sizes up to 2MB. For display on most screens a maximum image size of about 1200 X 1200 pixels is more than adequate. If the file size exceeds the maximum value, it can be compressed using the free software that comes with all cameras.

There's free image modification software built-in to Windows computers.

With the image displayed, press the "PrtScr" button on the keyboard. This places a screen shot file on a "Clipboard."

Open MSPaint, and Select "Edit" and "Paste." (from the Clipboard).
Manipulate the image by cropping out the extraneous information on the screen shot. Add text if you like.

"Save As" a new file name, which will be on the order of about 100KB, quite adequate for these purposes.
