I have been trying to work with powdered stone as an enhancement mixing with 5 minute epoxy filling in deep voids for hollowing turning.Do i need to be adding an additional filler?The 5 minute epoxy is like trying to hollow turn concrete.In the past i have used ca glue for surface voids-that works.This is my use of the forum-Thank you

It's not the epoxy that's hard it's the stone powder. I mix india ink with 5 minute epoxy to fill voids and it turns nicely. I suspect the powdered stone is dulling your tool. Inlace sells crushed plastic that looks a lot like stone. You can mix it with the Inlace product or with epoxy and it won't dull the tools. I get mine from Craft Supplies
