bloodwood
This segmented ball is about 5 1/2 inches in diameter and has 416 pieces. All the rings were tapered at one end before I glued them together. The base is carved out of Wenge.
Made of Salt Cedar Burl, with Pecan and Bloodwood for the stem and base. Measures 7"x4.5" and has a Tung Oil finish.
