This ash piece is a bit of a departure for me, in that it's only about 2 inches tall. Was initially thinking of using it as a knob for a lid on a much larger container, but I decided otherwise. It lay around for awhile and I decided to hollow, sandblast, dye and wax it.
These small "Wish Bowls" are each decorated with a variety of techniques. Each bowl holds 3 spheres to make a wish upon. Decorated with pyrography. 3"-4" wide.

Hollowform made from a Magic Medicine Nut and is also pierced around the base. Finial is Padauk, lightly carved.
2" tall x 1" widest, 1/8" thickness, fully hollowed. 1/4" opening
Basic narrow opening hollowform. Made from something new to me: Trilobate Lemon wood. It's extremely slow growing and has incredibly tight growth rings. Turns like a dream!
