can you put Wipe On Polly over Beal polishing compond

Yes but I wipe it down with mineral spirits to remove any wax left by the compound. Much better to sand to 600 or 800. Apply the finish and then buff the finish.

I would first suggest an adhesion test to see how well the poly bonds. I'm familiar with the label on cans of poly saying not to sand beyond 220 grit.
