very nice, what is Velvit Oil, i could not find it in craft supplies cataloge or my dictionary (my dictionary is old, copyright 1971)

It is not sold through catalogs. I have used Velvit Oil for over 10 years now. It is like a Danish oil. On most woods you get a real good penetration.

seems to me danish oil even natural danish oil would have made the maple much darker, i like your velvit oil finish

Yes, I plan on attending. It is usually the same date as the Oyster Festival here in Urbanna. This year it is not the first weekend in Nov.

I used Velvit Oil quite a bit in '96-97 when I was in the drum-making operation, it's good stuff.
