Maple bowl 7” diameter, pine needle rim, basswood carved goldfinch painted in acrylics, bird tracks are wood burned.
Very nice composition of different techniques, Joan.
I really would like to see how that finch took that last step or two! ;)

Well you see he flew up cause the step up to the perch was a bit much. ;) Glad you liked it.
